Through Project-Based Applications, CEV supports well-designed projects aligned with key strategic areas, aimed at strengthening the European volleyball community and benefiting individuals, clubs, and National Federations endorsed by their respective National Federations.

What is the CEV Solidarity Fund – Type I?


The Type I funding stream supports project-based initiatives that use Volleyball as a platform for development, education, inclusion, sustainability, and digital innovation.

Who can apply?


Applications may be submitted by National Federations, clubs, and individuals. All applications must demonstrate a clear link to Volleyball and contribute to the development of the sport and its communities

What is the maximum funding amount per category?


Each funding category has a maximum amount (EUR 20,000 / 40,000 / 80.000) that can be requested, as outlined in the Guidelines. The requested amount may be lower than the maximum threshold, depending on the project’s scope, quality, feasibility, and expected impact.

Is the CEV Solidarity Fund launched every year?


Yes. The CEV Solidarity Fund is launched on a yearly basis. If your project is not funded in the current call, you may revise, strengthen, andresubmit an improved version in a future call.

How many projects can I submit?


Each applicant can submit one (1) project per call.

How is the application submitted?


Applications must be submitted via the online application form, together with the completed CEV Solidarity Fund Project Templates (Word or PDF). Incomplete applications may result in ineligibility.

How are projects evaluated?


Projects are evaluated based on Project Design & Feasibility, Strategic Fit & Volleyball Focus,
Community & Impact, and Transparency, Monitoring & Financial Accountability
